Have you ever wanted to learn puppetry and never knew where or how to start? The Puppetry for the Stage Masterclass will go over the basics of theatrical puppetry including making your puppet come to life, developing strong puppet characters, best practices for stage puppetry, and most importantly, the joy of playing! Taught by Noel Macneal (Bear in the Big Blue House), Jennifer Barnhart (Sesame Street, Avenue Q), and Jake Bazel (Winnie the Pooh, Sesame Street), and produced by Julia Schemmer (Puppetry Nights on Broadway), you will feel ready to tackle your next puppetry audition! Practice puppets will be provided, but you're also welcome to bring your own to play with!
